I was talking to a friend about somebody who had been raped, and their first response was ‘Was she actually raped, or did she decide the next day that she didn’t want to have sex?’, which really angered me, and really disgusted me actually.
I think there’s a big issue where young men come up with alternatives, or try to justify their actions to make it seem like there’s no issue, and I think the only way we can change this attitude is to talk more about what happens and expose what happens more.
I think that’s why this campaign is so important in changing things.
